Jemma Zimmerman is a conflict resolution specialist and Head of Human Resources. She is also a Senior Deputy with the Los Santos Sheriff's Department/Grapeseed Sheriff's Department, Badge #4-G-68.
Background Information[]
Jemma Zimmerman grew up in Northern Virginia, right outside of Washington D.C. She grew up in a town where everyone was expected to graduate high school, go to college, get a job in the government, make a lot of money, and have babies. This is what Jemma thought was going to happen to her, but it really didn’t.
She was an outgoing, yet shy kid. She grew up with a small group of friends that she loved, and that’s when her outgoing nature came out. She was an average student all throughout high school and eventually got into St. Dukes University in North Carolina. When Jemma started college, she thought she was going to get a business degree or an accounting degree, but she just didn’t like it. The friends she had in high school went to different colleges and they didn’t really keep in contact, and she was having a hard time finding the right people at St. Dukes. She spent two years of her college career figuring out what she was going to major in until she came across Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She instantly fell in love. This degree taught her how to assess, dissect, and approach conflict, whether it’s an inner conflict with one person or a conflict that involves many people, she learned all about it.
Jemma excelled in this degree, learning everything there is to know about it and she ended up graduating fifth in her class, even if there were only about 100 students in the program (shhh).
After graduating, Jemma realized that she didn’t really have a life on the East Coast and decided it was time for a change. She had heard about Los Santos, a city where anything is possible, and decided to give it a shot. Jemma would ABSOLUTELY not fly to Los Santos, given that she has a fear of flying, and gets motion sick easily, so she decided to take a train from Union Station in Washington D.C. to the Los Santos Train Station. She packed a bag of her most prized possessions and headed out to start a new life.
