On April 3rd, 2024, Justice Lambda and Judge Dupres were kidnapped as they were leaving the DMV by Baby Block, Butcher Block, and golf gang member Arnie Dogtrack.
They were taken up to the Vinewood Hills and held at gun point by Butcher while Baby Block and Arnie went to City Hall where Mike Block and Mac Block were being held for a bench trial presided over by Justice Schwinghammer.
Lambda and Dupres sat side by side each other and as soon as they heard what the plan was, they knew they were most likely going to be shot.
Arnie waited outside in a taxi for their escape while Baby Block walked into the courtroom pretending to be the hostage of Butcher and told the police at the trial that the Blocks had to be released or else the judges would be executed by Butcher. A photo of the kidnapped judges was posted to Twinsta and the police took quick action to arrest Baby Block who was communicating with Butcher using her phone.
With communication between the police and the hostage takers being hindered by Baby Block's arrest and further panic in the courtroom over the situation, the safe release of the judges was made nearly impossible.
LSPD Sergeant Joe Ferraro was the first to arrive in the vicinity of the hostage scene. Butcher, unclear as to what was happening with the Blocks, heard the sirens of Ferraro's cruiser and assumed that things were not going to work out as planned. He hung up the phone, aimed his gun at Lambda, shot him in the head, and then Dupres.
Butcher shot the judges two more times each and got into his car to attempt his escape. Unfortunately for Butcher, he was truly a Block at heart. The location that Butcher had chosen for the execution was a gated area with only one exit. Butcher tried to drive through the exit where he was swiftly shot by Ferraro and arrested.
Both Lambda and Dupres were in critical condition while being transported to Mt. Zonah Medical Center. Judge Dupres was rushed into surgery and survived, then admitted to the ICU. As soon as Lambda was placed onto a bed, his pulse stopped beating and the EMS that transported him attempted to revive him using an AED.
These efforts were to no avail, and Justice Lambda was declared dead.
